This is a post about my headcanon about Robin bottoms. You should probably just keep scrolling, because I don’t think there is anything redeeming in this post. You should just blame sniktpop for this. Answers based on the body-type headcanon that I gave here.
Dick Grayson: What can I say about Dickie that hasn’t been said before? There’s a whole blog dedicated to his ass, okay? This is the birdbutt that started it all. Dick is famous for his butt, and for good reason, I believe. He’s less bulky and more toned, purposefully building his body in such a way as to not hamper his acrobatics. This has given him a very firm, muscular behind—-and because genetics are good to this boy, he has kind of a bubble butt to boot. It’s the kind of ass that you could set a teacup on. It’s the kind of ass that proves that there is a benevolent maker who wants us to be happy. That ass brings hope and joy to all who gaze upon its firm globes.
Jason Todd: As I’ve said before, I think that Jason’s built for core strength, not for the bodybuilding aesthetic. He’s got a little extra weight and a lot of extra muscle, giving him the rough size and shape of a grizzly bear. He’s actively conscious of his grooming habits and facial hair, because if he goes too long without shaving he becomes the wild lumberjack of Gotham. (While I very much enjoy Rocafort’s art, I feel like he draws him as too thin. One thing that I’ve loved about post-rebirth!Jason is that he’s physically the closest to Bruce’s body-type—-the only one who could have realistically put on the cowl and looked like him, sans padding and careful posture. But, as usual, I digress.) That being said, I imagine that Jason has a meaty posterior. I mean, with those thighs and all, he’s got some real heft going on. You could take a bite out of that and still have plenty for leftovers. The thighs steal the erogenous zone show, but that butt won’t be ignored.
Tim Drake: Skinny Timmy does not have much of a butt. It’s sad, but it isn’t his fault. Unlike his brothers, Tim has trouble building (and keeping) weight and muscle. It’s one part metabolism and one part terrible eating habits; when left to his own devices, he throws himself into projects and forgets that normal people have to do things like eat and sleep. Tim is very toned and lean, so he has a tight, small butt. It’s nothing to scoff at, but he’s no Dick Grayson. (But with Dickbutt, it’s like the Highlander. There can only be one.)
Stephanie Brown: As the only girl!butt on this list, Steph does not disappoint. I mean, just look at that adorabutt. JUST LOOK AT IT. My personal headcanon for Steph’s body is that she is much softer than the Batgirls and Robins who have come before her. Most of her strength comes from her arms and legs, and she prefers to hold her ground and duke it out rather than do those infamous flips and shit. She’s an ex-gymnast, but she’s no acrobat. Steph’s solid, but she doesn’t have the years and years of training to sculpt and tone her body—-or the access to the nutrition necessary to sculpt her physique, especially in her younger days. Steph’s extremely active, but she carries more bodyfat than Babs, and definitely more than Cassandra. She’s a bit pear-shaped, and most of that extra weight is settled around her belly and adorable heart-shaped butt. (And this is why Dick was so 8D about Steph in Daisy Dukes in Shake Your Tailfeathers. He deeply appreciates a good butt.)
Damian Wayne: Bruce Wayne doesn’t have much of a butt. He has the arms and back of a Grecian god-hero, but all god-hero blessings stick to the front, not the back. Thankfully for Damian, the House of al Ghul has very fine stock when it comes to shapely behinds, and his mother has one of the shapeliest. As I mentioned in the body headcanon post, I feel like Damian will continue to cling to the training methods that Dick left him with. During his Robin years, he will train as a Robin, pulling back on the need for raw strength and bulk in order to play a support-partner role. This will keep him slimmer than his father, lighter and more flexible. A focus in acrobatics, speed, and precision during his teen years will leave him with a build not unlike Dick’s—-though he will be much taller and broader through the shoulders. Personally, I believe that Damian will follow in his brother’s footsteps and grace the world with an ass worth illumination in iambic pentameter. This is all conjecture, but hey: perfect genetics, people.
